Dear Family, Friends, and Military Associates,
I am delighted to tell you that the Arrowhead / John E Ford lll American Legion Post 144 Arizona district has voted to start a Jr ROTC Scholarship fund in honor of John this year for 2 local High Schools in the Glendale, AZ area.
Four candidates have been selected as the first recipients to be awarded this year of 2016.
Some of you who knew that this was in the planning said that you wanted to be a part of donating to the to the Scholarship fund honoring your friendship and or association with John.
John’s heart desire was to encourage and support the young High School students continuing on in ROTC.
We desire to carry on John’s heart desire and give well deserved recognition and support to the American Legion as they support the younger generation for their achievements.
Any donation would be a wonderful tribute to John and to the
Arrowhead / John E Ford lll American Legion Post 144
Arizona District.
A blessing that will continue the ongoing support of a Jr ROTC Scholarship established in John’s name, and honor the members and supporters of the Arrowhead / John E Ford lll American Legion Post 144 Arizona District.
