Malicious Cyber Intrusion, theft of personal records

I recently received a letter from the U S office of Personnel Management, telling me information of my official records may have been compromised.  Just an FYI, if you did not get a letter you may want to check it out, anyway. When to the website listed in the letter, www.opm.gov/cybersecurity, it said about 2.5 million records may have be affected. There were two options, #1  I received a letter with PIN number to activate a free ID theft protection. #2  I did not get a letter, but would like to check it out.  You may want to at least go there and check it out yourself to see what you may want to do. The protection is offered free for three years by MyIDCare.

  1. If you have received nothing – why look for trouble?? If you do receive something, be very careful, do your homework before you reply!! The goal of this org is to make Government largest employer in US. CMSgt Roy Bagwell
