It is with sadness and regret to inform our Air Force Combat Camera friends of the passing of
Mrs. Fran Masterson.
Fran was the Guest of Honor at our reunion last September in Ontario, CA.
She was married to Lt. Col. Michael “Bat” Masterson, an Air Force pilot, shot down during a reconnaissance mission in Southeast Asia in 1968, and missing action.
Fran was a founding member of the National Alliance for POW’s/MIA’s, and worked tirelessly following every lead and reported sighting of her missing husband. She was a friend and advocate for other families with loved ones missing in action.
A remarkable, caring and devoted woman, Fran touched the lives of all who knew her.
Rest in peace Fran, reunited with “Bat”. All your questions are now answered.
