OH I just remembered FRED… I forget his last name but we TDYed a lot. We travel to Christ Church, New Zealand where he visited his brother in Auckland. Michael Kornacamp was my supervisor who shot the aerials with Larry for Top Gun….. He taught me how to shot aerials. Mike was married to a young lady named Kim. Wow GREAT memories. I just read that Tom Harmon died… Cruz was in charge of supplies… Thanks you the memories rush…
HELLO… Ken Hackman it is nice to see you in this video. I worked with you and Larry Blandford, Tom Harman, Tony Harris and others in San Bernardino Ca. My name is Dale Wright and I was stationed at HQ AAVS. from 4th of July 82 to my separation 1Sep85. I was on the Television side of AVS. John Powell was your 702. Chief Master Sgt French, Msgt Cecil Blackwell, Col Elmer and a host of other characters….. Im still working in Television in Washington DC. I left the USAF so I could finish my degree in 85. I went to Tucson AZ. and worked at a CBS station from 86 to 88. I was hired in Phoenix that same year and work for now KSAZ until 92. Then worked in Chicago (home) for a production company who had contracts with CNBC, ESPN, United Airlines, American Medical Association, HGTV, Nightly Business Report and others. I left Chicago with my Degree in 99 and started working at the local ABC in Washington DC ever since. It all got started in San Bernardino Ca. 34 years ago. I still remember all the TDY’s we had back then. I still travel according to how big the stories are now. It was GREAT seeing you and Larry ON THIS WEBSITE.
