Bob was a veteran of 22 years in the Air Force retiring as a SMSgt. He was stationed most of his career in the Aerospace Audiovisual Service, Photojournalism Section at Norton AFB, CA as a combat cameraman but according to him, “Not as a PJ!!”. He also served a tour as the AAVS detachment chief at Misawa AFB, Japan. He was married to Katsuko, who passed in 2020 and both are survived by their daughters, Janet Morrill and Judy Leach.
After retirement he worked for the trucking company, Werner as a long-distance truck driver. Bob was a long-time member of American Legion Post 421. He was a good friend and will be missed.
