I just wanted to check in. I retired in 1995 out of U.S. Strategic Command. I was a Plank Ower. It is a Navy term when the command was formed. I had 30 years and retired as a Major. The first 6 years was US Navy Combat Camera, next was 6 years US Air Force Combat Camera – all enlisted time and then commissioned USAF Combat Camera. I have my own Lanscaping Contracting Business – Finders Keepers Landscaping, LLC & a Certified Arborist. I am interested in the 2022 reunion.
Jim – Good to see you on here and to hear of your successful career. I remember with fondness our TACC film shot in SC and Fort Walton Beach. Tough duty. Look forward to seeing you.

Hello! I wanted to introduce our bookstore and let you know that we are carrying a novel by one of your fellow combat camera veterans. The Big Buddha Bicycle Race by Terence A. Harkin is a fictional book based on Terence’s service with the 601st Photo Flight at Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, during the latter years of the Vietnam War. Our store is called La Playa Books and we are located at 1026 Rosecrans Street, just a few blocks from your reunion site on Shelter Island.
