I’m an author working on a book about the famous bat 21 rescue in vietnam. I was wondering if i might ask for some quick assistance.
I’m hoping to get in touch with anyone who knew or came into contact with James alley, the usaf photographer killed during the mission. I’m hoping the book will be a tribute to the courage and selflessness of the men involved, and it would be a great help if i could speak to a few guys who knew Sgt. Alley.
As for my background, i’ve written nine nonfiction books, one of which went on to become the movie “Captain Phillips.”
