The USN Fleet Combat Camera Pacific is about to suffer the fate of USAF HQ AAVS, becoming history. Due to a serendipitous alignment of the stars it will occur at the same time as our Reunion in San Diego. We are invited to attend.
We would love to have the USAF Combat Camera Association attend our disestablishment ceremony. The place we are having it in will hold up to 450 people and right now we anticipate approximately 300 guests will attend.

USS Midway was commissioned a week after the end of WWII.
Midway was the largest ship in the world at that time. Length 971′,137 theoretical, 100 (1940s-1950), 65 Vietnam-retirement. In service 1945 and decommissioned 11 April 1992.
