This is Ken Marifke from the 600th Photo Sq. and AAVS reunion. I worked in Mopic Lab in 67-June 69-Orlando AFB, June 69 to Jan70-Norton AFB, was at Jan 70 to Jan 71 DaNang and Tan Son Nhut AB in 1970.
We been talking with Judy, my other half that was at the reunion in Colorado. Her dad lived in LA area and was a Cameraman, Eugene Oswald Blakely, according to her step sister who lives in LA.
Her father did photo work for someone down at 29 Palms and he was sent to Vietnam during Tet to do some documentary filming.
- How could we find his records, if he was really over there and what did he doing while there?
- He died from brain cancer
- Judy, a step sister had cancer also.
The two sisters are trying to find out thing about there Dad, Eugene Oswald Blakely. They do they have different Mothers.
