Knowing the history of this once thriving complex and the talent that roamed the hallways and inspired the masses, I’d like to share this photo with the membership. This was presented to me upon my discharge September, 1978. It is one of my most valued possessions and I have treasured it for over forty years. I came to HQ AAVS/DODC/Mopic early 1976. I had the pleasure of working with and sharing travels and camaraderie with many great enlisted, officers and GS personnel. I’d like to share the names of those that come to mind: Bob Desautel, Brownie Hatcher, Ray French, Jimmy Johnson, Jim Wines (my supervisor), Al Stowers, Jim Barschaw, Pat Knowles, Carson Lyons, Ralph Crese, Dan Mahoney, Al Rendall, JJ Jones, Gary Young, Mike Hinson, Carroll Evans and Bill Albright, to name a few.
